Virtue Focus: Unity

When a child develops the virtue of unity, they learn how to reconcile their own desires with the desires of other people for a stronger purpose. Seeking for unity is a valuable virtue in every aspect of life. 

Tips for training your child to develop unity:

  • Look for opportunities to discuss the strengths people have. Then talk about how those strengths can help others.
  • When you are working on a project as a family, seek opportunities to assign tasks based on each individual’s strengths. Then analyze why this worked.
  • Read a book together that portrays the main character developing unity, like this book:
