When a child develops the virtue of self-confidence, they begin to form the foundation of their personal strength. Self-confidence is the foundation for many other virtues and successes in life. 

Tips for training your child to develop Self-Confidence:

  • As part of the bedtime routine, talk about something from the day where they made a choice and acted in a good way.
  • Give your kids opportunities to do ‘grown-up’ things on their own as appropriate, like ordering their own meal at a restaurant, or making a phone call for information. Give them opportunities to succeed in the small things.
