Virtue Focus: Poise
When a child develops the virtue of poise, they begin to build self-control in any situation. Having poise is the means for many other virtues to shine.
Tips for training your child to develop Poise:
- When situations arise that require self-control, pause the action and discuss with your child what their choices in the moment are. Guide them to recognize their agency.
- When you see another child reflecting their poise, point it out to your child. Give poise a positive image.
