Virtue Focus: Appreciating History

When a child develops the virtue of appreciating history, they build a stronger sense of who they are in their world. Appreciating true history leads to better discernment as they get older.

Tips for training your child to develop an appreciation of history:

  • Research and learn about your family’s history. Discuss the stories your kids will relate to.
  • Visit your community’s historical museum. Learn about local history.
