When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms
If you contact us via our Contact Us form or our Join Us form, the information you provide will be stored in our database for future contact use. You will be contacted by us for information, promotional, and purchase reasons. You are welcome to unsubscribe to this service at any time.
Courses
If you purchase an online novel study course, you will set up an account. This account includes your name and email address. You will use this account to log into the course on subsequent visits to complete the course. This course account data is only used within the course system for tracking progress. Any work submitted through the course (via forms or quizzes) is confidential and only shared to and on the request of the account holder themselves. As the primary participants in our novel study courses, minor students’ data will be held in strict privacy. We never share course data with anyone outside our course system.

If you leave a comment or create an account on our site (either for courses or purchases) you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Your writing is your own, and we respect all copyright laws and practices. Your information, including manuscript portions, is used only for determination of publishability. Once that determination is made, all data is permanently deleted, including manuscript portions.
If you submit a manuscript for consideration for publication, you are automatically added to our email list for future notification. This is only a portion of the data you have submitted. You are welcome to unsubscribe from this list at any time.
